Mishan Yuva Vikas — Youth as Changemakers

We believe our greatest strength and our greatest opportunity as a nation lie in our youth.

We are inspired by the Government of India’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. We can clearly visualize a developed Bharat, and we also understand that this vision cannot be achieved by the Government alone. It requires every responsible citizen, institution, organization, and community to come forward and contribute to the best of their abilities.

We believe we have a responsibility to contribute.

Coming from a defense background, I have grown with a Nation First and Nation Always mindset. It has shaped my belief in responsibility, discipline, service, integrity, and the importance of contributing to something larger than ourselves.

We believe the changemakers who will carry India's journey forward will be our youth.

But potential alone is not enough. Youth must have the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills, experience, character, confidence, leadership, and responsible behaviors. They must be prepared not only to succeed in life and work, but also to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.

We want to help develop Changemaker Leaders who have the courage to do what is right, the discipline to keep going when it is difficult, the commitment to honest hard work, and the integrity to do what is right even when no one is watching. 

Why Mishan Yuva Vikas 

Mishan Yuva Vikas (MYV) is an independent, youth-centric journey and youth movement inspired by the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

We believe youth should not be seen merely as recipients of opportunities, but as creators, contributors, changemakers, leaders, and nation-builders.

Our purpose is to create meaningful pathways through which youth can know themselves, develop themselves, contribute to society, and lead with integrity—moving from potential to purpose and from purpose to action.

What We Believe 

We believe in responsibility, integrity, dignity of labor, fairness, inclusion, and respect for every individual who contributes to our nation.

Honest work—whatever its form—deserves dignity.
Talent deserves opportunity.
Hard work deserves fairness.
Every person deserves respect.

We believe corruption has no place in the India we aspire to build. Integrity must begin with each of us and be reflected in our institutions, workplaces, communities, and everyday choices.

We must have the courage to say no to corruption—not give, not take, and not look away.

Self-Reliance with a Spirit of Contribution

We also believe in self-reliance with a spirit of contribution.

Let us encourage every youth to ask:

What can I learn?
What can I create?
What can I contribute?
What can I give back?

Self-reliance does not mean standing alone. It means building the confidence, capabilities, and character to stand strong—and the willingness to help others stand stronger.

Contribution Over Competition

MYV does not exist to compete with anyone.

We exist to contribute.

We are willing to learn from others, share what we know, collaborate openly, complement existing efforts, and contribute wherever we can create meaningful value.

The challenges facing India's youth are too important for any one organization to address alone. The purpose is bigger than any organization.

We do not see MYV as something we own. We see it as something we have a responsibility to build and contribute.

The Changemakers Leadership Development Journey (CLDJ) is MYV's vehicle to help youth move through:

Mindset → Leadership → Capability → Opportunity → Action → Impact & Continuity

It is designed to help youth develop the capabilities, experience, character, and behaviors needed to learn, lead, serve, act, and create meaningful impact.

The journey toward Viksit Bharat @2047 does not begin tomorrow.

It begins with the choices, values, and actions we embrace today.

Right Mindset. Right Values. Right Capabilities. Right Actions.

Let us empower youth to dream boldly, learn continuously, work honestly, live responsibly, act courageously, and lead with purpose.

Let us build a generation that does not ask only:

“What can the nation give me?”

but also asks:

“What can I contribute to my nation?”

For me, the real success of MYV will not be measured by how big MYV becomes.

It will be measured by how many youth discover their potential, develop their capabilities, take responsibility, lead with integrity, and become changemakers who contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.

The purpose is bigger than MYV.

Our Guiding Purpose is Viksit Bharat @2047.
